Fortis Time Management vs Scoro

Profitability and Xero invoicing, without the modular bundle-picking

Scoro is a genuine end-to-end business platform — CRM, quoting, resourcing, financials — sold as app bundles with a 5-user minimum on every one. If what you need is time, approvals, live margin and Xero invoicing, Fortis Time Management does that in one app, with no bundle to choose.

No signup. No sales call.

Why teams look beyond Scoro

Modular pricing means picking the right bundle first

Scoro doesn't sell time tracking and invoicing on their own — you choose from named app bundles like Time-Billing, Projects & Resources or Quote-to-Cash, each priced separately.

5-user minimum on every plan

Scoro's pricing page states a minimum of 5 users across all its plans, so a 2–3 person studio pays for seats it doesn't use.

A lot of platform for straightforward billing

The full End-to-End bundle adds CRM, sales pipelines, quoting and advanced financials — powerful, but more system than most services teams need just to track time and invoice.

Questions about switching

Is Fortis Time Management a full replacement for Scoro?

Not for everything. Fortis Time Management covers time, approvals, profitability, retainers, invoicing and Xero. If you rely on Scoro's CRM, quoting, or full resource planning, those aren't in Fortis Time Management today.

Can I import my Scoro time?

Yes. Export your time entries from Scoro as CSV and upload them to Fortis Time Management, mapping the columns. You'll see a preview before anything is saved.

Does Fortis Time Management work with Xero?

Yes. Approved time becomes an invoice with UK VAT in Fortis Time Management and is pushed to Xero as a draft matched to the right contact. Sage and QuickBooks are coming soon.

Can I try it first?
