Fortis Time Management vs Harvest

The Harvest alternative built for UK agencies

Harvest is a solid time tracker. But approvals and profitability reporting sit on its Enterprise plan, and usage on top of your seats is billed as you go. Fortis Time Management puts approvals, cost rates and live margin in front of every UK services team — and pushes the invoice to Xero.

Why teams look beyond Harvest

Usage-based charges on top of seats

Harvest's pricing page says additional invoices, projects, clients and tasks are billed based on what you use, on both Teams and Enterprise.

Approvals need Enterprise

Timesheet approvals are not part of Harvest's Teams plan — they're listed on Enterprise.

Profitability needs Enterprise too

Profitability reporting is an Enterprise feature on Harvest, so Teams users can't see margin by client or project.

Questions about switching

Can I bring my Harvest data across?

Yes. Connect with a Harvest personal access token or upload a CSV export. Fortis Time Management imports clients, projects, tasks, people and time entries, and shows a preview before anything is saved.

Does Fortis Time Management work with Xero like Harvest does?

Yes. Approved time becomes an invoice in Fortis Time Management, which is pushed to Xero as a draft matched to the right contact. Your finance team reviews and sends it from Xero.

Do I need a higher plan for approvals or profitability?

Fortis Time Management includes weekly timesheet approvals, internal cost rates and live margin by client, project and person.

Can I try it without signing up?

Yes. The live demo is a fully loaded agency workspace — no signup and no sales call.
